A great hostel near Spanish Classes Neotropical
Calle 11 offers private and dormitory rooms in a quiet and safe part of Santa Marta with tropical gardens and an outdoor pool. It is 5 km from the Historic Centre. The rooms here feature a private bathroom with a shower and toilet. Some rooms offer balconies overlooking the pool and gardens, and air-conditioning. Guests can cook using the property’s shared BBQ facilities, while a wide range of restaurants and bars are available within a 10-minute walk. The beach is less than 500 metres from the property and guests can reach Simon Bolivar Airport in 10 minutes by car.
A fantastic hostel in Quito Ecuador
If you are going to Ecuador and the capital Quito we really recommend Carlos and Taties hostel. This is what one of their clients had to say about the hostel: “Beautiful home on 4 levels built on the side of the mountain with a fabulous view of Quito. On the first night, Tatiana gave half our group a fabulous tour of the old city. The next night she did it again for the younger half of our group. Each room is on a different floor so each room had a view of the city and the mountains. It also gives you more privacy. We traveled with a large group of 10 and we had lots of space. She provided a big breakfast and gave us lots of useful advice. Big out door patio and lots of stairs for the kids to go up and down. Thanks Tatiana for a great stay.”
Another thing, beleive it or not, but you are only paying 15 USD per night! You can make reservations here:

Here some photos from their hostel. The first from the restaurant overlooking downtown Quito and the second the view I had from my room before I went to bed.
